Entries closed last night for the Canterbury Horticultural Society’s annual chrysanthemum show. Lsyrge entries have been received in all classes, and the show of chrysanthemums promises to be the best for many years. There will be competitors from as far as Dunedin- A number of new exhibitors are included in the entries. Competition in the fruit classes will be the best for a long time- These classes are always a feature of this show, as also are the vegetable classes. The show will take place in the Art Gallery on Thursday and Friday, and will be open to the public on Thursday from 2 to 10 p.m. and on Friday from 0 a.m. to 10 p.m
