O* K ell o way, Secretary of the Department of Overseas Trade, replying to a question, said he had not received definite information that important foreign contracts had been lost by .Britain in the Dominion markets on account oi exchange rates. Nevertheless, it would be un-w ise to assume that European competition in the Empire markets vould not be more severe in the near future.
