A large party of Republicans ambushed a train at Inishannon. Forty military who were aboard tlic train replied to the attackers* fire, and a fierce battle followed. Six soldiers were wounded, three seriously, two rebels were killed, five male p.assengers and one female were killed, and two railway officers and several others were wounded. TEELING’S ESCAPE.
