NUMBER REOPENED. GUARANTEES CIVEN. Bj Telegraph—Press A ssccU-tion—Copyright. Hauler's Telegrams. (Received February IC. 8.40 a.m.) CAIRO, February 14. Some of the secondary schools have reopened, numerous parents of students giving the guarantees required by the Government. (A previous message stated that the Government had closed the secondary schools throughout the country till :i guarantee was given that they would net be used for political purposes. This was a sequel to the action of an Egyptian head master in expelling the ringleaders of the students at Abbasia School, Alexandria, who absented themselves without leave on the occasion of the Nationalist delegation’s return from Paris, whereupon a sympathetic strike broke out in the schools throughout the country.)
