At the conclusion of the meeting it was officially announced that the men are anxious to resume. As a result of the hold-up phenomenal losses have been incurred in all branches of the wholesale trade,' as since the stewards struck there has been practically no exporting, while interstate trade has suffered badly. The export of fruit to New Zealand has also been largely interfered with.
