REV J. K. ARCHER, whose appointment to the position of Lecturer on Economics to the Sydenham Workers’ Educational Association has excited the opposition of Sir Robert Stout, Chancellor of the New Zealand University. Sir Robert states that Mr Archer is “ a Marxian in theory, and may properly be termed a revolutionary communist.” Tho Senate was not impressed, and Mr Archer found a few defenders.
