A girl who bought a pair of ihexpen- ! sive charhoit leather golf gloves and decorated the long cuffs with bands of black su6d© in graduated widths cut from an outworn pair of gloves was but copying successfully a. new way with gloves which concentrates decoration upon the gauntlets. Thick white kid gloves have black linings to the gauntlets. which are worn turned back, and various “ cutout ” designs, in Vandykes and lozenges,/ are applied with due effect. Conspicuously unadorned. however, arc the fashionable white buckskins, which are deprived 6ven of the usual *' points ” on the back of the hands.
