TONKIN-GRAHAM.
A quiet wedding was solemnised at St Matthews Church, St Albans, on December 10, when Major J. F. Tonkin, M-O'., Croix do Guerre, was married to Nurse Muriel Al. G rail am, the officiating clergyman being the Rev Canon Staples Hamilton. The bride is the second daughter of Mr W J. Graham, Rungiora., who gave her away. She wore a becoming costume of amethyst serge, and a leghorn hat trimmed to match. She carried a sheaf of white lilies. She was attended by her sister, Aliss AYyn Graham, who wore a black and white costume and hat trimmed with purple. Air J- Templcr attended as best man. A reception was held at the residence of her uncle. Air J. ,lac-k----nian. I lines Road, where" a delightful morning tea. was served. Later Air and Mrs Tonkin left by motor for their honeymoon.
