Telford, District Health Officer. “There ha«*o been no notifications of the disea.se since Tuesday, however, when four belated cases were reported. All the cases are in hospital. This cooler weather should make a great difference, ns the disease makes its appearance in tho hotter summer weather.” Dr Telford stated that infantile paralysis was supposix! to be caused by the presence of a coccoid »rganism of a microscopic nature. The chief preventative step to be taken, ho stated, was to insist upon the general cleanliness of the premises.
