NEW HEAD MASTER ENTERTAINED. [Feu Prms Association. 3 WELLINGTON, January 20. IJic Rev E- O. Crosse, the new_Jii'ad master at. Christ's College, arrived by the Ruahine, and old boys in Wellington. to the number of forty, entertained him at dinner night. Mr L. O. H. Tripp presided. and among the speakers were Air T. M. Milford, Mr T. S. Weston, .Mr H. von Haast and Mr Denniston. The function was very successful, and the newcomer made a. most excellent impression.
Mr Crpsse will arrive in Christchurch, to-morrow, and will be formally welcomed at the college in the afternoon. The gathering will be held in the garden attached to the head master’s residence.
