Bolshevist apprehensions regarding a Turkish Nationalist advance, eastward appear reflected in advice from Tiflis that owing to an ultimatum by the Armenian Soviet Government to ’Furkey, the Turks evacuated Alexaudropol. It is also reported fchal the Armenian Soviet, backed by Moscow, demanded the immediate oxaouation of Kars, and the withdrawal of all ’lurkisli troops to the 1914 frontier of Armenia, and full and immediate reparation for damage done by Turkish troops in Armenia.
