Mr Mack, secretary of the Associate Society of Railway Servants, says tha there was no question of a strike, an what Mr Massey said about the coir mission was correct. Members wer being asked to vote not on a straight out strike question, bur as to whetlie they would support the executive in an action is may take, which was pure! a precautionary measure.
