It is quite possible that by the middle of the year symptoms of a shortage will recur. The outlook being not finite assured yet, has given a stimulus to proposals to us© natural resuurees both here .and in Australia, and shale deposits arc being again const’d'■'ved a? a valuable source of motor fuel.
