Degaris flew from Brisbane to Melbourne yesterday in ten and a half hours. He left Brisbane at six o’clock on Sunday morning and arrived at Sydney at 12.30 p.m. He resumed, his flight at 1.46 p.m.. and arrived at Melbourne at 7.45 p.m. Stops were made at Grafton and Cootamundra en route. The distance covered was 1100 miles. (Oil .January 11 .Degaris left Sydney in the morning and reached Brisbane at- 5.3 p.m., his actual flying time being 4hr 50min.)
