WEDDINGS.

KOTLOWSKI—9FLAHERTY. At tlie Roman Catholic Cathedral, Barbadoes Street, on Wednesday morning, January 5, Aliss Alargaret Flaherty, daughter of Air and Mrs AT. Flaherty, Cheviot, was married to Mr Edwin Charles Kotlowski. eldest son of Air and Mrs A.- Kotlowski, Takamatua, Banks Peninsula. The Rev’ Father Seward, ©f Akaroa, officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, was gowned in ivory satin charmeuse, with side panniers of georgette, beaded with pearls, forming a waterfall effect. Her veil, which was liand-embroidered by the Sisters of Mercy, Akaroa, was held in place by a spray of orange blossom and she carried a shower bouquet of white flowers. The bridesmaids, Alisses Alary Kotlowski and Sarah Flaherty, wore dainty frocks of shell pink and mauve aecordeon pleated georgette over satin, with large black picture hats, and they carried bouquets of pink and mauve sweet peas. The brother of the bridegroom, Mr Leo Koltovvski, acted as best man. and Air Alartin Flbherty, the bride’s brother, as groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held at the -Cadena, the bride’s mother receiving the guests in a navy tailored costume and black hat. Later in the day the happy couple left for their honeymoon, the bride travelling in a smart tailored navy blue garbardine costume with vieux-rose straw hut. AVILTSHIRE—GREATBATCH. The wedding took place at the Registrar’s Office on January 6 of Air Percy G. (Nick) Wiltshire, eldest son of Air and Airs T. Hammond Wiltshire, Lawson Street, and Aliss Annie M. B. Greatbateh, only daughter of Air and Airs J . T. B. Greatbateh, 13 Brougham Street. Only the parents of the bride and bridegroom and Aliss Marjorie Al’Kinley were present, as the bride’s mother is in ili-health. The happy couple intend to make their home in the North Island and are at present the guests of Air and Airs Edward Al’Kinley, Crohane Street, Sydenham.
