PRIZE-GIVINGS.

BHOOKSIDji. On Thursday the annual picnic and presontation of prizes took place in the school grounds. There was a very largo gathering of. parents and friends. Tho greater part of the afternoon wan devoted to children’s sports. Following afternoon tea the presentation of prizes took place, Mr John Cunningham (county chairman) presiding. Mrs William Brooks presented the sowing prizes, and Mr AVilliavn Brooks, on behalf cf tho School Committee, thanked times who had contributed to tho afternoon’c enjoyment and w 11 who had bo generously contributed to the prise fund.
