WEDDING .

OOCKS—FOX. A wedding was quietly celebrated yesterday at Sb John’s Church, Latimer Square, when Mr Reginald Cocks, son of the Rev Canon Cocks, was married to bliss Molly Fox, daughter of Mr and Mrs Dilworth Fox, also of Christchurch. The ceremony ’was performed by Canon Cocks (the bridegroom’s father.) The bride was charmingly attired in a simple frock of white georgette mounted on silk trimmed with a white .charmeuse swathed, belt. From a wreath of orange blossoms fell a white net veil, and she carried a bouquet of' clematis. She was given away by her father and attended by two little girls, Elizabeth Murray- | Aynsley and Jill Barker. These two small bridesmaids looked very sweet and picturesque in dainty white , muslin frocks, _ small caps, _ wreathed with tiny daisies and carrying Early i Victorian posies of daisies. The best j man was Mr Maurice Cocks (brother |of the bridegroom.) After the cere- ' nionv a reception was held at the I residence of the bride’s parents, when | the breakfast was dispensed in a marquee prettilv decorated with hang- ( ing baskets of pink blossom. Mrs Fox I received wearing a errey gabardine coat and skirt and a blue straw bat, trimmed witb_ pink roses, and Mrs Cocks (the bridegroom’s mother) wore a navy blue silk costume and a black i and pink hat. Those present, most ot whom were relatives, included Mrs Armine Cooks, Mr and Miss GebbA Mrs Murray-Aynslev, Mrs RnimmondBailey. Mrs Theo. Barker. Mrs Brown and Miss Brown (Mount Thomas'). Mrs and the blisses Prigs, the Misses Cocks. Mr Percy Murray-A up c]ey, Mr Cuy- Mannering, Messrs' Gebbio and Cocks, . The principal event in a young girl’s life is her wedding day.'
