Sending- CoSsaoks into Tabriz to attack the Democrats, the HOw Governor remained outside the town. The Cossacks defeated the Democrats, wounding a hundred and killing fifty, including.a notorious sheik, who had been dictator of Tabriz since the spring. After, capturing the enemy's guns and ammunition the Cossacks took possession of-the town, which is reported to be quiet.
