A meeting of Papamii residents was held this afternoon on the site of the Government workers’ houses settlement, to consider the alleged defects in the layout. On tho motion of Mr W. lb Spencer, chairman of the Waimain County Council, a resolution of protest was passed against the roads being loss than a chain wide. It was also agreed to send a deputation to Wellington.
