DTJGG AN—WHITE. St Luke's Church was well filled on Wednesday, when Miss Victoria Comfort 'White, only daughter of Mr and Mrs F. White, St Albans, was married to Mr Leonard Duggan, second son of Mr and Mrs A. Duggan. The brido, who was given away by her fat'iier, wore a dress of ivory charmeuse over brocade satin, with a train of satin embroidered with pearls. The veil was of Brussels net, with handsome design worked in pearls. She carried a beautiful bouquet of white hothouse flowers Tho Rev F..N. Taylor officiated at the ceremony. The bridesmaids, Miss Eileen Grummett and Miss Elsio Warren, wore dresses of mauve crepe de chine, witli champagne hats. Miss Norma O'Donnell, cousin of the bride (Victorian posie girl), Wore a white crepe de chine aceordeon-plcated frock, with a largo bow of mauvo and gold ribbon, and a canary.hat of tulle. Mr P. Davis acted as best man and Mr F. White (brother of bride) as groomsman. The bride's mother wore a black crepe de chine costume with cream vestf'and black-plnmed hat. The reception was'held in St Luke's Hall, about eighty guests being present. Vae bride's travelling dress was a smart coat frock heavily braided, with a black hat, wreathed with white feathers. The train-bearer was Mn*+e'r Austin Hannifan (cousin of the bride). Miss Maisie M'Cormack attended her sister as bridesmaid, and wore turquoise georgette over silk, the ■■kirt made with three French folds and tho bodice lined with gold lace. She wore a fawn picture hat with lance;plumes drooping on to t'iio shoulder. and carried a bouquet of daJtodiis witli coloured streamers. Mr William Craighead attended his brother as best man. The ceremony was performed by the Very_ Rev Dean Regnault, who alsr married the bridegroom's mother and father. Miss Ward presided at' the organ. The wodding breakfast was held at the Hibernian Hall. Mrs Bernard M'Evedy (sister of the bride) received the guests in a handsome knit silk costume, heavily braided, also large Leghorn hat, and carried a bunch of violets.. Mrs Craighead (mother of the bridegroom) wore a gown of black mirror velvet, the skirt draped in pannier style, with a large black hat heavilv fitted with sequins and beautiful ostrich stolo.
