A wedding took place at the Church . , of the Sacred Heart, Addington, on Au- ••! gust 25, the contracting parties being : Mat.y.j;Veronica, eldest daughter of Mr ■;j Thomas Gibson, Christchurch, and i j Clement Burrowes, eldest son of Mrs r: Burrowes and the late Thomas Bur- ): rowos, Christchurch. Nuptial Mass was hj celebrated, the Roy Father O’Connor ■ officiating. The bride, who was given away "by her father, was becomingly attired in a fawn costume and hat, and she carried a choice bouquet of white , flowers. She was attended by her sister, Miss Annie Gibson, who was at- ;; tired in a check costume with pink hat, ' her bouquet being pale pink. The I bridegroom was attended by Mr Mussen. A reception was afterwards held at the residence of Mr and Mrs Gibson, Whiteleigh Avenue. “ Yes, three weddings to-day.” Each • ; day our Sepie De Luxe wedding groups get more popular. The happy smile, the beautiful dresses, all are faithfully portrayed.
