In connection’ with tho Breslau incident the Government demands that Germany shall rebuild tho consulate, pay the French officials an indemnity of 100,000 francs, punish the guilty, and salute the French flag with full military honours. (At Breslau on August 23 a mob demolished the Polish consulate and destroyed documents, and did tho samo at tho French consulate, except that tli© police saved the archives. Tho rioters raided hotels in search of French officers.)
