Two defended cases had to bo adjourned at the Magistrate’s Court this morning on account of the Magistrate having rSo attend to official business out of town. “It seems to me,” said Mr Sargent, addressing the Magistrate concerning cho adjournment of one of the oases, " that chore is so much work for the Magistrate-! to do lately t.iat there should be extra assistance.” \
