Tho requests made to Sir George Clifford by.'a deputation of jockeys were considered to-day by the Racing- Conference. Sir George Clifford stated that in view of the high, coat of living the jockeys, asked for O'U increase of fees. They asked for fit) pcr_ cent increase on all losing fees and a flar, rate of 5 pel cent on all wins, or <‘n place money where the third prir.c was tlfiO or over, with a pro rata increase to .steeplechase and hurdle riders.
