AN INFANT’S DEATH. There is still no clue to the identity or the newly-born infant child whoso dead body was found under a gate in luam Street on Wednesday morning 1 he body had no other covering but a piece of paper, and there were no marks of violence. It is a ve'ry. difficult case, in which tho police might receive a good deal of assistance by malting public all they know, but they are preserving a remarkable reticence.
