A message, from Auckland states that two boys, Cyril Bowen, aged fifteen, and Eric Clayton, aged fifteen, left Takannna in a small open boat yesterday afternoon. Their prolonged absence caused considerable anxiety, a search having been instituted by the water police. It appears that tile boys spent tho night on Ilangitoto. They wore brought, to town by tho dredge.
