Jlr 0. V. Quigley was admitted as a; soucitor of the Supreme Court by his Honor Mr Justice Stringer to-dav, the motio'ti of Mr H- O. D. Meares. 1 of the Domains Board and of the City Council this afternoon planted treys around the bog-gal-deu *rt\tbo Gardens, which has been established by the board. The ceremony was conducted by Mr J. Young (chrator), and _ amongst those present were Mr J W. Beanland (Deputy--1 . and i lr ar Pcr (chairman |of the board). About thirty trees were ,;#mted. Those present later on were conducted bv Mr Yonng through tho ' ■hothouse and the propagating “house fhd afternoon tea was served in the pavilion.
