The weather is fine, but the water is lumpy owing to a strong wind. Results: Maiden Pours—Blenheim 1; Weirau 2Waitomata 3. Eight others started. Won easily. Maiden Sculls—Wanganui 1; Aromoho 2 The only starters. Won by a length. Champion Fours—Wangnnui Union No. I IX ’Waitomata 2; Wairnu 3. All started. Won bv three lengths. Youths’ Fours—Star 1; Ngaruawnhia 2. Won by half ft length after an exciting contest. Junior Pours—Union 1; Picton 2. Won by a length. Maiden Double Sculls—Unwa 1; Auckland 2; Union 3. Won by about’half a length. Champion Sculls—Hadflold 1; Sharpe 2. The only starters. Won easily by four lengths. Maiden Fours—Union 1; Wnitcmats 2; Aramolio 3. Won by two lengths.
