A PASSENGER’S WAGER.

Though yesterday’s rain necessitated the postponement of Captain Dickson’s nltornoon programme, the rain ceased about three o’clock and many people wont out to Washdyko to see the flying man and the machine. Among them were some ivho had booked flights, and Captain Dickson decided to carry out a limited programme, the conditions being excellent for flying- Thirteen passenger flights wore made, some being rairly lengthy, and all the passengers were very enthusiastic. Captain Dickson finished with a display which included a spinning nose dire, and a partial loop. On this occasion lie was accompanied by Mr A, S. Callaway, manager of the municipal electrical department, who thus has tho honour of being th? first passenger who has_ ever taken part in Captain Dicksoirs stunting exhibitions- Mr Callaway says he enjoyed the experience immensely. and is proud of the fact that ~} rn -L no t' sick. He had a little, wager with Captain Dickson on that point, and on landing the captain, cheerfully paid over the stakes. To-day the sky is clear and the weather warm, and there is promise of a great rush for flights this afternoon.
