FIRES.
The City Fire Brigade received a call at five minutes to eleven last night to Rendezvous, High Street, where the kitchen chimney was found to ba on fire. The outbreak' was extinguished before any damage had been done. At twenty minutes past one this morning the brigade received another rail, to a. six-roomed nnoccnnied house at 2:10, Westminster Street, if! Albans* owned by Afr Frederick .Buchanan. The house, which was insured for £3lO in the State Fire Insurance office, was totally destroyed hv fire. ’ ..
