On being sentenced to three months’ imprisonment in a London Court a,.man leant over the clocu rail inn- and, snatching up a metal inkpot from off the solicitors’ table, ho flung it with nil his might at the Magistrate. Tho Magistrate ducked, and tho inkpot smashed its way through a. beautiful stained-glass window and out in the street. The ink her© spilled over the new dress of a young lady walking along the pavement, and she shrieked so much that her voice frightened the horse in a. cab containing two people. The horse bolted down the road, and ran straight into a crockery slum, injuring the two passengers, ami at rho ■ s-aiiio time smashing up about i,JIiO worth of crockery.
