SETTLEMENT ARRIVED AT. There was set down tor hearing; bofoio lus Honor Mr Justice Hordman in the Supremo Court this morning a case be tv chiu John Lawson and-Jamies La-w-Sol \ rrl^ r Kaikoura, fanners, and Thomas Boyd and .David Boyd; pin. (Mr M. J. Gressou), also Kaikoura tamers, and executors and trustees under the will of the late George Gibsou, formerly a Kaikoura sheep farmer. Plaintiffs claimed specific performance of an alleged contract for sale of a lease in perpetuity property at Kaikoura known as Stag and Spev, and also .eioO damages resulting from alleged non-performance of the contract. After consultation between the parties, it wa.9 announced that a settlement had been arrived at, and the case was accordingly struck out.
