IRISH UNREST.
BEVOLBTIOHARY OUTBREAK EXPECTED. SIFT l» THE HANKS OF THE SINN FEIN. By TV-ltSTTiph—PtM. Association—OopyriidiK. • United Service, (Received December 4. 8.55 a.m.) LONDON, November 2d. Everyone is expecting’ a, mild revolutionary outbreak in Ireland. Iho authorities and ibe majority of the people almost hope that, the climax, will come soon. Lives will, be, lost and property destroyed, bnl an outbreak will mean that the extremists are reaching the end of their resources. Tho authorities have no doubt that there is a, rift in the ranks of the Sinn Lein concerning tho policy of outrage and murder. The moderates at a recent meeting of the Rail Liran (the Sinn Lein “ Parliament■ ”) denounced the killing of policemen mid the brutalities inflicted on women and old men in connection with the searches for firearms. The Irish Volunteers now form a compact s'ecret society. Lour regiments, completely equipped and officered, exist in Dublin alone, and their strength elsewhere is proportionate. Members and officials of the Dail Eiran are forced to take the seditious oath prescribed for the Volunteers. The authorities believe that the Sinn Lein, despite the bludgeoning of the moderates, is increasingly antagonistic to the Labour supporters, the farmers and the small shopkeepers. - r~— t GERMANY DEFIES THE ALLIES.
