ELECTION LESSON.
THE WOGLSTON SCHOOL. STRONG VOTE FOR BEATTY. Tn connection with the school election lesson, inaugurated by the “Star,” we have received the following from Mr W. M. West, of the Woolston School:— Woolston School, December 3, 1919. The Editor, “ Star.” Dear Sir,—The election at this school was carried out under the care of two assistant masters and a pupil teacher. Each pupil was given a number, and this number ■ being given to the returning officer, was written on the back of the voting paper and duly concealed. The voting then took place in scrccnedoxf apartments, and a suitable bal-lot-bo\ received the papers. The ballot resulted as follows:
The pupils were greatly interested in the result, and incidentally received a lesson of considerable value. Thanking you for the trouble you have taken in this matter.—-I am, etc., W. M. WEST* The Editor requests that results of ballots be notified to him on or before Friday, December 12, so that the final results may be published in the “Star ” of Saturday, December 13.
