The wedding took place yesterday afternoon at the residence of the bride’s parents, of .Miss Norm APAlillan, daughter of Mr and Mrs William M'.Millan, “ Ho wan Brae.” Dyer’s Vass Road, and Mr Harold Y. Murray, son of airs Murray, Christchurch, and ol tho late Mr F. JD. Murray. Lincoln. The wedding was very quiet, only relatives being present. The bride wore a lovely gown'of satin charmeuse and georgette trimmed with pearls, over which fell a. white veil, held in place by a. band of small orange blossoms, and she carried a white bouquet.. .Miss Dot Murray (sister of the bridegroom) was the bridesmaid, ana wore a. pretty Wedgwood blue crepe de chine frock, ornamented with silver embroidery, and a black picture hat. Miss dean M’Millan (niece of the bride). in a dainty white laco frock ana black hat, made a charming flower girl, and carried a basket of nink and blue flowers. Mr Archie M’Donald was the best man. F. Wyatt and Aim Wyatt, of Lyttelton. The Rev E. Eliot Chambers was the officiating minister, and Airs Livingstone presided at the organ. The second bridesmam was Aims Elsie Carson, who looked very pretty m a pale pink silk frock, and a. lace leghorn hat trimmed with pink. Siio carried a. pink and lavender bouquet. Aliss Lynda 11 Heudrv, in a white embroidered voile dress and lace Jegbom bat with black, velvet streamers, made a dainty little flower girl. She scattered rose petals before the bridal party as it left the church. Air H. Wyatt, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Aiter the ceremony a reception was held at the Excelsior Hall, many relatives and friends being present. The frocks were made verv prettily with tucks and tiny frills. The bridesmaids wore leghorn hats lined with black and trimmed with wide hows of tulle to match the colour of their frocks, and carried bouquets of mauve and pink sweet peas respectively. The best man was Air John. Pottinger, ant. tho groomsman Air V. K. Simmers.
