He receiv'd nn orderly hearing. He outlined at length the Labour- platform. A few que-tions were asked. Local representatives of the Labour Party moved a vote of thanks, which was carried. OROUA SEAT. [Psr Pars* Association,] FEILDING, December 3. Tiie- Hon D. H. Guthrie, sitting member, has been nominated for the Urouit sent. Mr E. TunnieM is the official Labour candidate. There are no other aspirants, THE LABOUR PARTY. D.AWERA. December 3. At a- meeting last- evening a- branch of tho New Zealand Labour Party was formed in Hawera. Mr P. (j’Dea, solicitor, was elected president. It was unanimously decided that Mr P. B. Fitzherbert, of New Plymouth, should i stand for the Pa tea- seat in the interests lof the Official Labour Party. Mr Filzj herbert has consented to Maud.
