HENRY CLAY FRTCK. :'y Tolegraph—Fro** Association— Copyright Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received December 3, 11.,'35 a.m.) NEW YORK. December- 2. The death is announced of Henry* Clay Frick, the steel king, who was an associate of the late Andrew Carnegie. Death was due to ptomaine poisoning. (Henry Clay Frick was born at Overton, in Pennsylvania, in 1849. Ho was chairman of the board of the Camegio Steel Company until it was absorbed by the United States Steel Corporation, when he became a. director of the corporation. He. was also director of several railway' and other bodies.)
I Ynletide compliments were exchanged by members of the Harbour Board today in an atmosphere that recalled old pictures of merry Ohristmases iu colder climes. A fire and electrio radiators wanned the. room against the inroads of the blustering wind that blew outside. When the board had adjourned till February A. Dr Thackcr moved th,u the board should wish tho chairman and staff a. merry Christmas. This was carried with hearty handclapping, and the chairman (Mr 11. B. Sorensen), in rctiiriiiiiK tho i_{(»n<] wishes, said that ho had Hover worked with a more pleasant board.
