Hetween Dnnediu and Invcrcargill the down mail leaves Dunedin at. 8.30 a.m. and arrive.'- at lir.ereargili six minutes earlier than before. The 3.30 p.m Chrisiehureh to Waikari train is changed to 4.35. departs from Christchurch, and on Tuesdays and YVedne.-days runs through to Cul-vi-rden. while on and 'I hurs'iays thorn is an additional connection from Culveiden with the morning train from YVaikari. '1 he Ox lord afternoon train leaves Kanginra at (5.10 p.m. instead of 5 p.m., in suit the altered main 'line connections, and the 2.50 p.m. train from Oxford now leaves at 4 p.m. The Eyreton branch train to Bennett's leaves an hour later than at present. I ho Tuesday and Thursday morning train. Methveu to Rakaia. will connect with the down express, while on the Enirlie. branch a faster service both ways, as in T!)lt3. has. been reinstated. There, is an extra train each way on the Waimate branch to connect 'with the through expresses. Times of local trains between Chrikchurch and Ashburton remain practically as now, and between Timaru and Oaniaru the only alteration is that the afternoon trains from both towns leave five minutes earlier. On the Lyttellon lino there is an additional train to Lyttclton at. .10.20 p.m., and the present .11.15 p.m. train on Saturday is made daily. E roni 1,-vt-telton there is an additional train'at, 8.35 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, and at 10.50 p.m. daily. The present 11.15 p.m. train on Saturday is made daily. Sunday trains on the. port line are roiiiMated, leaving Christchurch atU.2oa.ni., 1 p.m., 2.30 p.m., •> p.m.. (5.15 p.m. and 9 p.m. Erom Dybielum trains leave at 10.10 a.m. 1.10 p.m., 3.5 p.m., 5.35 p.m., 7 p.in' and 0.30 p.m. The 1.22 p.m. train, Eangiora to Uinstehurch, will leave throe minutes later- and run correspondingly throtichout.
