CANTERBURY CONDITIONS. (By F. L. WOOLES.) .NOVEMBER WEATHER. November was a somewhat unsettled month, there being with the exception of the first few clays, when a cold southerly ruled, no marked period of any particular weather type, rather a more or less frequent alternation of cold, showery conditions and periods of finer weather. Several j'airlv warm days were experienced, but the. northwest gales, a feature of October this year, were abseut; only one or two fairly strong blows from that quarter occurring during the month.
