WEDDING.
CARRIXGTOX -SMITH. A wedding of much interest was oelcbra.led this morning at St Luke's Church, when Miss Gwendoline. Smith, daughter of .Mr 11. T. Smith,' of England, was married to the Rev Philip Carrington, sou of Dean Carrington. Tho Rev Philip Carrington is the Diocesan Brigade Scout, Commander, and as a pretty compliment to bis Pride, the Scoutmasters of Christchurch formed a guard through, which she emored on Iter way to the church. The clinrch was crowded with Scouts, pupils from St Margaret’s College (a t wh ; hj school the bride has been a pupal;)'- teacher lor a number of years) ami parishioners. His Lordship the Bishop, assisted by the Rev F. X. Taylor, performed the ceremony. Dean' Carrington gave the bride away. 'I h 0 brirlc wore a simple white frock and liai. .Miss Moliy Carrington, the bridesmaid was also in white. Captain A. If’. Carrington was the best man.
