A White Paper estimates the world’s wheat yield for 1919 at 99.3 of the fire years’ average pre-war yield. Sugar js estimated at 9G.3, and wool at #l.B as compared with 1913. ’ The coal output of America, Great Britain, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany for the first halfyear of 1919 is estimated at SOU compared with 1913. A comparison, of the expansion of currency with the rise in wholesale food prices, taking 100 in 1913 as a basis, show that tho following expansion has taken place:— v „ , Currency. Food.
