SERIOUS ACCIDENT IN AUCK--1 LAND. [Pna. Press Arsoctatton'.l AUCKLAND, November 29. As the result of a collision between a motor-cycle with a side-car and a motor lorrj in Khyber Pass Road last night the rider of the 1 cycle and the two occupants of the side-car were admitted to the hospital. Miss Elsio Carbines, of Grey Lynn, sustained a fractured skull and hor condition is serious. Robert Neill Vickerman, of R-emuora, sustained a fractured jaw and a broken leg. Miss Ooralie Hunter is suffering from shock and slight injuries to her leg. Ernest Bedford, the driver of the motor lorry, states that just about dusk he saw a. motorcycle approaching at a fast pace. He gave it room for a clear ran on the tram rails. The cycle, however, collided with the lorry head on and the occupants were violently thrown out. The cycle was completely wrecked.
