UNION CLUB. The increased interest being taken iu rowing is shown by the large number of entries that have been received for the President's Cup lour-oared race, and now members Double Sculls rase, forty-one entries having been received for tbo former, and thirty-nine for the latter event. This record entry exceeds any of pre-war days. The entries for the President’s Cup had perforce to bo reduced to eight crews, as follows: —L. Donnelly, S. Hemingscn, J. Murc.b, H. Adkins (stroke); G. Logan, S. Truman, L. Gregory, A. C. Piuwill (stroke); A. Beardsley, F. Malmancbe, W. Mercer, T. H. Grenfell (stroke); R. Christiansen, ’ 15. Palmer, J. Ellis, G. R. Wilson (stroke): F. Foster, C. Timbrcll. R. J. Gregg, W. Duggan (stroke); C. S. Ward, D. Barrett, 11. C. Ross, F. Adkins (stroke); L. Kirk, C. Yates' D. Stevenson, A. Freeman (stroko'i; C. Dallisot, W. S. M’Lcan, W. Whittington, R Mann (stroke). This race will be rowed ori November 11. The entries for the new members’ Doubles and the balance of the entries for the President’s Cup, will he arranged at a meeting to be held on Wednesday eve ring. It is proposed to divide them into tvf> races, namely. Trial Doubles and new members’ Doubles' Seventy-eight now members have been elected this season, including ten lady members.
