Cygnejh >.s., for Kaikoura, October 22. Breeze, s.s., for Picton, October 23. ■ SHIPPING NOTES. The Calm arrived back from Timaru early this morning to pick up Wellington and Wanganui cargo. The Koromiko will leave Lyttelton this afternoon for Sydney, at which port she wiil discharge a large consignment of New Zealand cargo, ana will thou proceed to Newcastle to load coal for Lyttelton. The' Rosamond, from southern ports, is due here on Thursday to load for Nelson and New Plymouth. The To Anau should arrive in Lyttelton on Friday to load Napier and Gisborne cargo. Repairs to the propeller of the Mardroa are expected to be effected by this afternoon, when she will be floated out of dock. She will resume in the ferry service to-morrow .evening. ~ ; Tbe Canopus was expected to reach Timaru from Westport yesterday. Gn discharging ate. will return to Westport to load for Lyttelton. The Breeze is expected here to-morrow from Dunedin, via Timaru, and is timed to leave on Thursday for Picton end Wanganui. Owing to the large consignment of Australian cargo on board the Westralia for Lyttelton, she could not be despatched last evening. She baa a full complement of passengers for, Australia on board. This evening ahe will sail for Dunedin, Bluff and Melbourne. The Wakatu will sail for Kaikoura this evening. The City of Winchester is timed to leave for Waitara to-day to continue loading mutton for Home ports. The Canterbury Steamship Company’s KarU, which arrived yesterday morning from Wanganui, will bo dispatched for Wellington to-day. The. Storm was unable to complete her loading last evening for Dunedin. She wib be dispatched for that port and Timaru today. The lonic is expected to arrive at Wellington on Friday morning from London. The Maheno 'eft Sydney on Saturday at 2 • p.m.. and is due at WoWn-ton to-morrow. On Friday she will leave Wellington for Lyt- , te’ton. ' The Liherty is loading at New York under the N.S, and A. Line for Auckland. Wc!linvton, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Melbourne and Sydney. She is expected to leave shortly, and comes to the agency of Dalgety and Co'.
