YESTERDAY’S MEETING. The Canterbury Land Board met vcstordav; present—Messrs H.- D. M. Haszard (Commissioner ‘of Grown Lands), Masauley, stowell, T. G;c and Cumngham. i-i, H. W. Wardrop was acting-clerk, in ’ th« absence of Mr R. Leckie, to whom the board accorded a vote of sympathy in the recent death of his mother. Applications were considered for advances from 53 returned soldier's, for an amoaal totalling £30,000. • . The following transfers' were approved of L.P.l7S7—Section 3, Block XXI..
