A Dannevirke telegram states that Mr H. S. M. Quigley, at present headmaster of the Te Papakuku School, and secretary of the Dannevirke branch of the Hawke’s Bay War Relief Association, has been appointed joint secretary of the Dannevirke A. and P. Association and the Dannevirke Provincial Fanners’ Union, at a salary of £4OO per annum. There were seventy-three applications.
