MEETING OF COUNCIL. The Council met in the afternoon. Mr Summers (president) ■ occupied the chair. Other delegates present wore: Messrs R. M’Callura, Auckland; T. Rush (vice-president). Colonel R. J. J here was an attendance of about sixty, nearly all: the clubs in Christchurch being represented. After dinner a snort -toast list was gone through.
