The sixth annaal meeting of the Kiewrtoi, Do lna ;n Tennis Club was held iu ihe OdtLeliov, s Hall on Tuesday even ms, Bwmg to the absence of Mr J Mullins (chairman), Mr S. Hollobon presided, and there was a fair attendance of members The report and balance-sheet were read the letter showing a Knall credit bahmoa! Burins: the season the club was unfcrttinate in losing one of its best officers, in the person of the lata Mr C. P. Taylor. The sympathy of the club was extended to Mrs Taylor. The subscription was fixed for the comine season as follows:—Ladies 7b 6d. gents 12s €d, girls and youths under the age of ei°b tden years ss. The following officers were elected: Mr J. A. Holmes; president. Mr G Wuty, M.P.; vice-presidents. Messrs W •R a i lantyne, G. E. Currie, S. A. Staples. J. p Holmes, H. English and B. Bucknell- dub captain (ladies), Mrs Biggs; club captain (gentlemen), Mr W. Hardy; -onorarv sc" retary and treasurer, Mr S. Hollobon' com mittee. Misses D. and W. Hamni Mrs Smith. Misses H. and M. Holmes Messrs \ Kpper. L. Sherwood. F. Fuller, J. Hannifin and W. Holmes. 1,1 ; lt was decided to open the season on Saturday, October 11, at 2,30 p.m.
