A GAS EXPLOSION . A peculiar accident happened this morning, resulting in a vouug mau named Lionel Hughes, of 66. Durham ffrccL Sydenham. being admitted to the Hospital suffering from severe hums on the face and hands. It is stated that Hughes entered a room full of gas and struck a match in order to ascertain the cause of the escape. The gas immediately ignited and caused an explosion, resulting in the exposed portions of Hughes’s body being burnt.
