The late Airs Archer, of South brook, who was interred in the Anglican cemeUangiom, last Sunday, was the daughter of the late George and Eliza- \ V ,dlis tormeriy of Riocarton and hhefnr-ifl, botn Canterbury pilgrims in lb->0 by the ship Cres.sy. Airs Archer Mas horn at- Ricearton in 1859. spendu 1 ” ! llost .her married life at Southbrook where her cheery and kindly disposition was well known. Durum the war she engaged actively and. ardently m Rod Croas work. Her funeral was largely attended by old friends and relatives, many coming a distance to he present. The Rev F. Kendall, of Kangiora, officiated at the grave.
